lets say i have a clone what would each plant produce on a 2 month cycle? 3 month?
should i be looking at 2-3 ounces per more? 1 ounce per month?

Like Dr. S said, there's literally hundreds of variables coming into play here.
If you give all of your specifics then I can give you a guestimate, but nothing even close to guessing about how many grams it will produce.
Technically you are only limited by space and light. The longer you vegetate for, and the more light available, then you are going to yield quite a bit more.
If you take your rooted clone, veg. it for 3-4 weeks, and have a 400w HPS, and do everything RIGHT (Indica Strain); You will probably be yielding somewhere in between 1-2 Oz's. Possibly 2 and a half if you are good at training. Strains really change the results. It's always a guessing game when figuring the yield. Some phenotypes throw out big dense nugs, while others are modest and more potent.
It's really a tough guess, as I am still bad at guessing my own yield, and ALMOST ALWAYS over estimate. Think low and be surprised at harvest time...

good analysis inverted. Sounding like a real pro. i'd have to concur with his synopsis. I personally never got more than an oz. or two off of each plant regardless of what i do (keeping in mind i use same strain/light/medium just diff. juice)

As most of the above said it's tough to say without knowing the specifics. But assuming you use a 400w hps and you aren't doing anything detrimental to the plant you should have no problem yielding an Oz. maybe more but depends on a lot of factor. I don't think I've ever had less than 1 oz. per plant.

A few ounces is a definite possibility.
As others in this thread, and many others have found out on the site before, there are too many variables to determine the amount of weed that a plant will produce

In all honesty, with 3 months time and appropriate conditions, roughly 1.4 ounces.
That gives 8 weeks flower and a month for clone/veg.
