Lazyness
    #288399 - 09/29/09 05:41 PM (7 years, 2 months ago)

I've been thinking about building a hydroponic kit myself, but I am just to damn lazy?

Anyone know a good site for getting a grow kit, I would be more than happy to buy any second hand grow kits if anyone has any.

Feel free to PM me if you prefer that.

What kind of grow are you trying to achieve?

Large scale? Medium scale? Small scale?

If you want large scale and you want to buy a complete system, get ready to pay over $100 for all the equipment; and that's reasonably cheap.

Medium scale; you're looking at $60-90, depending on quality and whatnot.

Small scale; $60 and under, dependingn on whether you build it or not.

If anything, check this place out.

I don't know you that well.  Do you already have lights and shit, or does the $1000 need to cover lights and room set up and all that stuff?

Are you planning on one area or two?

Also how big is the closet?

For a 1000 dollars setting up will be easy.

I only have around 400 in mine.

Are you wanting to do a drip, areo, or ebb and flow?

And what are the closet measurements?

You may also want to have this moved to Growroom Design to get more help with this.

I would be happy to help you anyway I can.

But from the sounds of it, you will have money left over.

I would say start with 120 to 240 cfm fan and filter.

Next air cooled hood and a digital ballast for both MH/HPS.

Now as to how many watts I'm thinking either 400 to 600 watt.

As to a system I have no clue I personally use a drip, and about to go areo soon.

I am planning on doing as little DYI as possible. I already work as a handyman, I don't wanna make my hobby like work at all.
