HONOLULU -- The Maui Police Department on Monday said it has busted a "sophisticated indoor marijuana" production in Makawao.
Police executed a warrant on Wednesday at a home off Piiholo Road. Inside, said they found 1,232 marijuana plants and 187 cuttings. The MPD Vice Division also found fluorescent and high-pressure sodium grow lights, fans, ballasts, timer systems and numerous trays and pots, police said.
Police also recovered a loaded shotgun with numerous rounds of ammunition, about 9.6 grams of psilocybin mushrooms, 18 grams of hashish and $458 in cash, officials said.
Police arrested Eric Welander, 36, who lives at the residence. They charged him with commercial promotion of marijuana in the first degree, commercial promotion of marijuana in the second degree, felon in possession of firearm, felon in possession of ammunition, promoting a harmful drug in the first degree and three counts of prohibited acts related to drug paraphernalia.
Authorities set his bail at $145,000.
Damn, don't know what he was thinking about 1,232 plants but Damn!!

I have google news alerts set for mushrooms and all sorts of stuff like that. Everyday I'm reading stories of busts and wondering if they are Shroomerites or Growerites. I know many of them must be.
On another note. I often see TV personalities who I swear seem to match up with some posters and have on more than one occasion seen shit start on the Shroomery and find it's way into various scripts on TV programs. Especially the animated ones like The Family Guy, Simpson's, etc... It's a small world after all. I'm sure if we knew the insides of everything we would be quite surprised quite often.

I have noticed that too. I wish I could think of some of the examples or had pointed them out at the time. Maybe some will come back to me. I'll reply here if thay do. You should do the same.
