is it frowned upon to post pics from my shroomery account on the growery? I assumed its actually the same server and shouldn't be a big deal; but I thought I had read somewhere that you shouldn't post pics hosted shroomery on growery and vice versa.

The URL's for the images will work interchangeably, so there is no problem posting images uploaded on the Shroomery here to the Growery and vice versa. You can even change the word "shroomery" to "growery" in the image URL and it will still work.
The only downside to posting pic's from your Shroomery gallery on the Growery, is that you aren't populating the Growery's gallery with relevant images. So if it's an uber tasty marijuana-related image, you may just want to upload it here for kicks!
