What kind of results would I get if I used a hermi to pollinate another hermi? Would it be better to let the hermi pollinate itself? What results would I get out of the seeds; 50% female, 50% hermi?

I'm really hoping they're just calyx that haven't shot their pistils out, but with the stress I've put them through, who knows.

you know. that's a good question audz. i don't deal with males. i kill them. or seperate them off. i have no intentions of making seed laced buds, my stuff is barely on par as the moment as it is(i need a good nute bundle, and a good working cheap[except the airstones... NEVER buy the cheap ones] DWC bucket setup.

Well, everything is cheap, including the air stones if your making a dwc bucket, except if your gona spend money on anything, get a good air pump. If that fails, and it goes unnoticed, your plants will drown very quickly.

that looks like the beginning of a female pistol without the hairs coming out it yet.

the male things, in all the grows iv'e done males don't look like balls. the girls look like a tear shaped. and the males... i guess it kinda looks like they're growing balls. but they're ALOT smaller, don't seem solid either.

I can't believe these pics were taken a month ago. What kind of nutes are you using Audz? Are you gonna flush for a few weeks before harvest? And are you gonna let the trichomes go foggy or harvest a little early? Great grow :bow2:

Shultz generic 10-15-10 plant food. It's a little hard to measure due to the high concentration, but the plants seem to like it. I think I'm going to pull them a bit early because I like the heady rush more than the couchlock. Is there much of a difference in yield from early to amber?

Thanks! The paperclips are actually proving to be a lot more practical than expected. I mean, pipe cleaners would probably be a bit easier, but paperclips are great, especially when used heavily, at holding branches right where you want them to be.

I'm still surprised by the lack of smell thus far. There's a definite green smell when the door gets opened, but it just smells like plant, not so much like that conspicuous pot smell. All we have in the room for odor control is a plugin air freshener thing.

Me's after reading something interesting in a Pro-canna newspaper I picked up in the headshop. According to this article warm white flourescents provide more usable light in the red spectrum, where as the most of the light produced by HPS bulbs is in the yellow/orange spectrum. I don't know how true this is, but I'm gonna check it out.

The buds, the main two in particular, are starting to swell up. They're already crystally as hell, so I'm really excited at this point. There's some yellowing going on, though, with some red spots in the interior of the leaves. I'm confused by it, though, as the same feeding strength I gave the big plant burnt the living hell out the mangled one. The symptoms I'm seeing look more like a deficiency than a burn, but that doesn't seem possible. Anyways, I'll throw some pics up soon.

Thanks for the kind words! I wish the mangled plant had some buds to look at, but that burn it took over last weekend has nearly killed the stupid thing. I'm not really sure what to do with the dang thing as it's not going to produce more than 3 or 4 grams of not so good stuff if I let it keep going. I want to reveg the kiddo and let it grow back out, but I don't really have anywhere to put it. I've also thought about just killing the damn thing as it's responded negatively to damn near everything. That's not so much an option, though, as I have no seeds whatsoever and it would be nice to have something else going when I reveg out the other girl after harvest.

I've also been thinking it may just be the time to invest in some real genetics, probably autoflowering at that. I feel I actually know enough about growing now that I can not kill everything I touch (ignoring the stupid mangled plant). I just don't really have an address I feel comfortable shipping to. Well, I do, but the other half doesn't, if you catch my drift. I'm hoping harvest will change their opinions, but at any rate, I think it's time. My goal is to get ahold of some auto AK47xBlueberry genes and LST a couple of them at a time, ScrOG style.

But yeah, glad you guys are as excited as I am!
