Is there any way that we can preserve the editing from forum posts to the main site? The main hurdle here is converting from the UBBCode that the forums use and the HTML the wiki uses.
If a user were to post a tutorial here and dress it up nice with colors and pictures, they should be able to bring it over there in one piece without having to redo all the links, highlighting, and formatting.
Can we could get some sort of a conversion tool or change the wiki to use UBBCode as well as HTML?
That's going to be up to Ythan and his code-master-kingly abilities. I've asked about it before, but for one reason or another it never materialized.
That said, I would be happy to reformat documents for the Main Site. Users who own quality threads containing a tutorial or otherwise valuable information may post the link right here (or PM me) and I will do my best to convert it into the appropriate HTML necessary to display effectively on the main site.
