i hear a seed will last roughly a year kept in a dry dark place,
i also hear that storing them in a freezer will prolong the shelf life.
i also hear a good way to test for good seeds is soak em overnight and the ones that sink are good to plant.
also scratching a tiny x on the top of the seed will help it germinate.
am i right?

its just a seed man. it doesnt need all that jazz.
they keep for a LONG time. ime
you dont need to knick weed seeds. you can, but it doesnt make a difference. the shell gets moist and the seed eye absorbs water which triggers the growth(i think...i have to be careful what i say around here now...you know im talkin to you if you read this;))
knicking is more for seeds that dont really absorb water well like morning glories and hbwr
mj is about the easiest thing to germinate. get some jiffy pellets, soak them with water, stick a seed in...done
