I took 3 cuttings from one of my female plants on 10/28 for one of my friends to grow in his areogarden he just bought. I put them in a 60/40 verm/perlite in 6oz cups with another 6oz cup on top to keep the humidity up as well as cutting most of the large fan leaves off or in half. 2 of them are looking good, one is a little bit to small I think. The plant I took the cuttings from is approx. 4 weeks into flowering so I'm assuming its going to take a little longer for them to develop roots, if they will at all. I was wondering when I should start adding nutrients and whats a good npk for cuttings? I have some Schultz 10-15-10 with micro nutrients(iron, manganese, and zinc) and Schultz African violet 8-14-9 with the same micro nutrients (I am currently using this to feed my 2 girls that are flowering and its working pretty good). The only other fertilizers I have are some miracle grow 10-10-10 and some Schultz 18-6-12 (with magnesium, boron, iron, manganese, and molybdenum) that is a solid time release food. I also have some Epsom salt that I can add if needed.
Cuttings shouldn't need fertilizer. If you absolutly must, I would only use very low strength, high quality hydroponic nutrients, only after they have popped some roots.
