Just be glad it wasn't some sort of dish you left in there, complete with plastic utensil. The smell of melted plastic and the pain in the ass of removing it from the oven, not to mention the suspicion that the frozen pizza you cook afterwards vaguely tastes like chemicals, is less than desirable.... especially the second time it happens.

my favorite method, but most dangerous, is the aerosol can blow torch. you can kill huge nests with that method right there. It is also a good way to almost burn your house down.
