2.) forget you have pizza boxes in said oven

3.) preheat oven to 400 F

4.) enjoy wonderful smell of cardboard baking in the oven.

yah, better then the flea infestation i had at my last place when i first moved in.  We got most of em, still have a few buzzing around though which is why we're not leaving food out.

Just be glad it wasn't some sort of dish you left in there, complete with plastic utensil. The smell of melted plastic and the pain in the ass of removing it from the oven, not to mention the suspicion that the frozen pizza you cook afterwards vaguely tastes like chemicals, is less than desirable.... especially the second time it happens. :smirk:

Bummer coda.  I did the same thing with a dozen pf cake jars.  I got all freaked out and made a post about it on here too.  That night sucked.  But it didn't catch fire i just didn't realize it until it was ready to go, as i recall.
