Well seeing as you didn't leave it alone.
This site is PRIVATELY owned. They can do whatever the fuck they want. Them being fair and nice is just gravy.
No one is holding a gun to your head to visit this site. So unlike the real world where censorship would infringe on your basic rights (not that that stops anyone. but I'll leave that alone) you can leave.

1. Shroomery has long history of loose censorship policy
2. User obviously crosses the line
3. Everyone overreacts, mostly because they seek entertainment
4. Second user feigns congnitive dissonance. Re: conventional v post-conventional morality.
5. Third user takes that person seriously and posts a wanna-be textbook response, with a little added sass.
6. Second user decides to go for the over the top approach because he assesses that user three won't understand further subtlety.
7. Fourth user comes to third users rescue because he just wants to say something.
8. Second user points out that third and fourth probably missed step one and didn't read the statement in the appropriate context.

Not to be a dick, but you seem to be percieving a different situation than I am. I'm already lost on points 1 and 3.
What does the Shroomery's censorship policy have to do with anything? The Growery has a mixed history of censorship (particularly in the Geokills days) and a clear history of opposing childporn. I didn't see any overreaction to the child porn.
The rest of that explanation is clouded in numbered individuals that I don't care to wade through.... What's wrong with using names?
And I still don't get what you were talking about. Call me retarded if you like, my feelings won't be hurt.
