 Removing labels from glass

Anyone done it successfully, or have any insight?
I hate most labels on glass.
Have a cheapie I'm going to try removing the label on.
So far fom what I have heard soaking in CLR looks like the best bet.

just use a lil lighter fluid... let it soak for couple mins.
then it whips clean off

How long did you let it soak for?
Goo Gone is great stuff and is made from citrus.

A while, kept spurting it on cuz it would run off the tube, would take a lot of fluid to actually submerge it.
Goo gone? Perhaps I didnt make myself clear, this is a ceramic label on a bong I am talking about.

id say they melted the ceramic into the glass....
u may be able to grind it off ...
