 Ceramic bong problems

Ok so i have a ceramic water pipe that was purchased off of everyonedoesit.com
Its Ceramic with a metal pipe head. Im thinking it should be fine but idk its if plated with somekind of toxic metal.
When you hit the pipe it gives you a really harsh it, so hard you can even inhale the whole it. i was wondering if it was something with the ceramic or the pipe head because it has me kind of worried.

it's a ceramic bong, aka a POS. Everything in the pipe is most likely food safe. I'm guessing the chamber is really expansive, or the water level is too low and not cooling the smoke enough. Throw some ice in there, take tinier hits, that should help things.
Next, save some cash and buy glass. Pipewise it's the best and tastiest way to smoke.

i didnt expect much from it, but atleast its not killing me

Can you replace the stem?
If you can take it out, you might be able to find a glass stem.

Yeah dont smoke out of metal, even if its not killing you (since theres no real proof to either side of that argument) it still makes for nasty hits

Dont hate on the metal pipes yo. For like $15 bucks (9 euros) for a waterpipe is not bad. Do the hits taste chemically or just bad?
