Microwave+ joint =?

A kid i met today told me that if i microwave a joint it will "activate the alkaloids" more than normal. I'm a little skeptic because wouldn't it be just as activated as if they were light with a lighter or such?

he's talking about decarboxylation i believe.  Most generally done in an oven, not a microwave.  Personally i follow the tried, tested, and true method of smoking a joint.

1.) take lighter
2.) apply flame to tip of joint
3.) inhale
4.) enjoy

If you microwave bud the water will evaporate and it will be all brown and crispy

I microwaved a blunt one time (not sure why, i think it was too wet) - anyway a girl who smoked on it turned white as a ghost and passed out, wowitch had to call a wambulance for her.
