It's easy to tell the difference. Just look at where the flower would start to form and instead of that it looks like a ball.

Yeah...my mac did not do that. Instead of flowers or balls it just grew more tiny branches that LOOKED like balls until they grew more....only about a week and a half after flip did it start to show sex πŸ’€

I would like to keep it if its possible to grow it as a male, have grown a male plant once before and they are interesting for making certain non-psychoactive preparations from. The plants all outside now though, was wondering if moving them far apart or taking one inside if its determined to be male would be a good plan?

Got my order from Hoku today.  I would recommend them.  They have a promo on Tuesdays where they give away 80 free seeds with every order, even if you only order a $10 bargain bin pack.  Less than $20 for at least 80 seeds.  You can find the details on which strains they’re giving away if you sign up for their emails, but there is also usually a guy who reposts the email in the Hoku thread on the overgrow forum.

The male plants are bastards. They produce enough pollen to get pretty much every plant around them especially if they're outside and the wind gets to play a part.

I would eradicate the male immediately unless you have a reason to be making seeds but any plant that is making seeds loses it's nice quality high because of all of the plants energy being  redirected to make seeds.

I see. Well I decided either way im just gonna let it run its course, im not specifically looking for a ton of top quality weed or to avoid getting seeds so I will have to see what happens, after researching further seems I might have jumped the gun on concluding one plant to be male, will give it more time and report back.

I dont grow salvia but have wanted to for 15 years. I should get some soon to try, I hear it can be difficult in some environments though...

I have heard they are very hard to get to produce seeds. I currently grow two species of Salvia but they aren't the psychoactive kind.

Do you need seeds? Im making mac s1, and gmo oz bx2 x mac fem pollen.  You won't be able to get the gmo oz x mac anywhere else in fact :wonka:

Hard disagree. I have done this many times with clones with plants etc. You can absolutely selectively pollenatie 1 or 2 buds/branches without sacrificing potency. (Only the seeded buds technically lose potency but that is because the weight is mostly from the seeds now and not the buds.)

Also about the male pollen ruining entire crop. That also entirely depends on the plants. My current example: the mac clone I reversed I let stay in my tent to open pollenate....nothing got touched unless where I deliberately pollenated 😜

My Heart Channel was made apparent as ill from when I practiced Tai Chi.  It's more complex.  I know.  I am busy studying.  I practiced some Tai Chi out on the porch.
I used the Acupro Academy Book, AcuPoints Made Easy to narrow my evaluation!  I have a pale tongue for over a week and my extremities are cold.  I am learning Pulse Diagnosis.
Today I conducted an overview of the Extraordinary Vessels.  I plan to study single herbs after I rest a bit.
