How many of you smoke with your parents? Or are the cool parents?
My old man found my stash maybe 20 years ago and was surprisingly cool about it. He put it back where he found it and told me he used to smoke back in the day and if it was ever legal he would smoke a joint with me. He said he didn’t want to take the risk, and didn’t want me taking the risk under his roof. When I got my medical card I tried to help him get one too, but he refused unless the VA would pay for his weed. He said he used to get a pack of pre-rolls in Nam for a dollar and didn’t want to pay the dispensary prices. So I thought he wasn’t interested. But it’s legal recreationally now and he told me recently that he smoked a jay with his hunting buddies at deer camp.
I’m hoping my homegrown is ready to smoke by opening of trout season next year. What better way to share a joint with the old man than with some homegrown bud on a fishing trip? Maybe in a few years when my own kids are grown it will be a tradition.
I grew up smoking Ganja with my mom. Mom sold Ganja and Hashish in the Hollywood Hills. She started giving me alcohol and then smoking Weed with me when I was a tiny little kid. I don't know why she gave me alcohol either. And then coffee too. We used to drink coffee together. I remember all my friends had serious behavioral problems. This one kid in elementary school tried to push me down the stairs as a joke. I remember he laughed. HAHA asshole.
