meh I don't like that "keep your enemies closer" sentiment it makes me paranoid it makes me wonder how many of my "friends" are just "keeping me closer" right ahahahaha. I tried that out for myself a while back, got tired of getting robbed. Now I keep my enemies far the fuck away from me and it seems to make me happier ahahaha. Was just talking to someone on the other website, you know the lame one, he was saying that like if you really apply the golden rule you'll eventually see what he calls "the brown rule" where people just drop their mercy to push you as far as they can because they think they can.

and I suppose nobody is interested in the idea of Growery having more plant focuses? I mean don't necessarily have to be all magic plants or whatever... I just think maybe part of why shroomery is more popular than growery is because of it's wider intended audience above all. Like sure sure we have a wide intended audience here but the actual audience is well... data you said spambots right lol
Growery and Shroomery just don't seem to follow the same formula- ok ok like shroomery isn't "Cubensis demystified" it's just Magical Mushrooms demsytified err is it just mushrooms demystified? You see my point?
maybe maybe the administration would rather keep things quiet here and don't want the traffic, I guess there could be reasons for that too.

I may be hallucinating, but I thought that a while back we had a lot more subforums, including subforums dedicated to different types of plants. Then I think a combo of the old mods and the admins decided that there were too many subforums for such a small user base, and combined a lot of them together to get the layout we have today. I think this is why our Other Growables subforum isn't called something like the ethnobotanical garden, like it is on the shroomery. I'm fairly new to the mod game, and wasnt paying attention to any of the forum workings for most of the time between '08 and about '13 or '14, so maybe Stoneth can speak more accurately to the history of the Growery (which also might be an interesting thread to start, lol).
The only admins I've ever seen around the growery is ythan and geokills (mostly geokills, he checks in about once a month). It might be a better idea to post your idea in website feedback or main site content if you want actual feedback from an admin.
In the meantime, we can all take this and demonstrate the potential by posting all of our growing projects/questions/discussions/pictures in the other growables subforum and see if new members start popping up.

Hammers still alive and some others that were in the background I got recovered.. started one new fem seed but it looks like some strange bug that I hadn't seen before started nibbling at it, hope it lives.. I have a to-do list longer than the daylight in the year...
