I have never started that laste as I always start mine indoors in like February then put them out in like may then grow monsters lol
I promise you I would get regular pots, some miracle grow potting soil or whatever indoor soil, and one or 2 light ballasts that I put walmart blurple lights on them 18/6 schedule until I put them outside lol

These seeds have been germinating for about 4 days, I have two more waves in different states of germination going. but I put the planted seeds sprouts back in the sprouting container and back in my dark warm garage for now. I'm honestly kinda just winging it and hoping for the best.
my end goal isn't to grow smokeable flowers though.
any and all advice is welcome

Am I the only person who just puts seeds in soil, puts it under light, and water it just enough when they need it? Lol I have never done the towel method in my life 
Advise:
1. Put them in soil.
2. Get a couple cheap grow lights
3. Water them when soil gets dry.
4. Put outside as soon as they are big enough.
Extra step*. If you are planning to grow indoors then disregard everything I said lol.

I'm not really sure why I did it the paper towel way. I remember some old man telling me how to do it like that when I was a teenager. I randomly put a seed in one off my flower pots and it sprouted and was healthy until I took it out and put it in it's own starter pot.

yeah, that's what I want. I've been getting into gardening and plants for my mental health. I got a bag of soil and a seed starter kit. was looking at all the seeds in my tray, I said fuck it. I'm going to try to grow hemp.
Then I remembered this site. like now that I'm trying to legit grow. lemme join again

This was a good idea IMO, gardening keeps you busy, gives you attainable goals, and encourages you to improve; there's always more that can be done to better your crops or garden area, and it can teach you a lot of life lessons. Plus, it's fun to watch things grow.
Starting with cannabis is fine, but personally I would also plant things you can eat. Tomatoes, peppers, cukes, squash, kale, carrots, or whatever you happen to like. If you have land, some fruit trees and berry bushes or vines would be a good idea as well.
If you really get into organics, you'll eventually want to plant some dynamic accumulators and start a worm bin for compost.

yeah, I got a lot to learn and a long way to go, I started my own grow journal in the appropriate forum. as far as pics go I don't have much to show so I'll just hold off.
sometime this Thursday ill be able to buy what I need... (ie. tent grow light, better soil)

thanks, im finally seeing lil green sprouts in my starter cells. 3 outta 8 so far. my garage stays pretty warm, and I've kept the soil moist. the light stays on all day, except for when I'm sleeping then I turn it back on in the morning when I get up.
its a waiting game, I got the patience
