 Can raw weed be considered an edible?

Of course not! I was just wondering if any of you had tried raw weed and actually felt anything
I had a friend who didn't smoke but whenever he saw all of us getting high he used to ask me for a piece of bud to chew on, he said it did the trick for him but I think it's BS.
Im an editor and I'm working on an article based on this topic so I was hoping to get some input directly from you instead of some boring impersonal research

Eating raw bud allows you to get 100% of the active cannaboids. Where smoking and/or cooked bud is far lower percentage.
Tho I wouldn't eat bud unless I knew the grower was organic and didn't folar feed or spray the buds with pesticides. Just saying.

I read somewhere that eating cannabis raw has some health benefits over baked cannabis/edibles.
It won't get you stoned, but I think it has anticarcinogens and antioxidants that can only be metabolized by eating it raw.

huh?
I get that I'd prefer less chemicals on my food, but trust me, anything that's a concern taken orally (the organic vs non for cannabis bud eating) is at least as much an issue dumped into your lungs...spray a single bud with roundup, chromium, etc. and I would prefer neither but I would eat it LONG before I'd smoke it....

With toxins it's all about the dose. When you consume raw cannabis (usually in the form of a juice) you can go through piles of material, vs the ~1g of dried flower you'd normally smoke.

I heard a rumor Bruce Lee chewed on decarb.
So I tried popping decarb
Now I always have a little bit of decarb with me as an absolute emergency.
