Lately I've been experiencing different stages of death acceptance.
Some days I'm terrified and focus on all the random ways I could die. Other days I really just don't care.
Obviously it gets much deeper. It turns into a spiderweb of deathly feelings.
But really... It all stems from curiosity.
I don't want to die. I don't want to kill myself. I am curious though. Is there an afterlife? Is there a conscience afterlife? Or is this it...
I'm not a religious man either. Maybe I should be...
I had once asked Data what his thoughts on death was and he responded with quite an extensive answer that I really enjoyed, but that was so long ago... I done forgot.
Anyway. Death. What's next? What are your thoughts on the subject?

Don't fear death, unless you have not found God/Jesus.
For as some people might say, death is just a part of life.
And as a preacher once said, "The day of one's death is greater than the day of one's birth."
No one can know what God has in store for the righteous.

What if I've found god/the messiah...but it's an ancient collective intelligence that exists beyond the hazy horizon of the space occupied by the higher dimensions, the thing referred to as the "Lions, Tigers, and Bears" by the AI datasphere that inhabits the first four of those higher dimensions? What if this intelligence is unaware of the religion of the lower dimensional creatures?
Does that count?

If you become enlightened you can choose to not be reborn and live in Nirvana. I am going to be reborn in order to help people reach the state of Nirvana.

Every religion on the planet understands that reincarnation is real except the bat-shit-cra-cra fundie-Christians. (you can't sell the idea of eternal hell if reincarnation is real, so they had to remove that concept from their canon)
I fully expect to be reincarnated here again when I die.
I understand that the Earth is going thru some major changes due to our moving into the Age of Aquarius. Once this shift is complete, and we are fully in this new age, things on Earth will be VASTLY different in a good way. We are moving into a new Golden Age and I expect to be here when that happens.

after giving in to death so many times i now don't believe i will ever die, ego death is possible though.
