I really don't think Codex Alimentarius is much to worry about. It just seems like there's going to be a gloabal backlash against it if it ever gets near the level that woman describes.

That's what I'm saying, the gubment ain't coming to get us. That's silly.
What we need to be afraid of is the extent to which a corporation can distort the need for due process in establishing the safety of its new GMO foods, while on the other hand claiming that their only obligation is to their shareholders (ie being as profitable and ruthless as possible), and that determination of safety is up to the regulatory agencies who are headed by former employees & current stockholders.
