Hitler didn't really do anything special. This is kind of a disenegnous talking point. He turned Germany around by building up the military. That's really it. Which, while it worked temporarily, it is a shortsighted, high-risk tactic that historically always ends up crashing down almost as quickly as it builds things up. It's not like he built up a strong economy that would've sufficed outside of wartime or anything.
