Just wondering how many Dungeons and Dragons geeks we have here? :nerd:

I've played the game for years and have recently started playing their online game Dungeons and Dragons Online

Is anyone interested in playing?

The online game is RPG game akin to World of Warcraft without the superpowered toons. It's set up to be a party-based game with other real players working together to complete quests. You can solo it with a hired hand, but its always easier to do them with real people.

It's another MMORPG with D&D as the core rules.

You have to pick your class (fighter, thief, magic-user, etc.) and a race (human, elf, dwarf, etc.) then start the game.

You start on a beach after a shipwreck with no gear. You go thru a training area called Korthos Island. It gives you a brief idea of how the game is played.

By the time you finish Korthos, you should be close to level 3-4 then on to the Harbor for more advanced quests.

There are a lot of different dynamics to how the game is played. I would love to show someone how to play because I need more players in the Central Time Zone from 6-11 PM.

Roll up a character on the Khyber server and let me know your toons full first name and I will make a toon to run with you and get you into our guild. You can play for free and get to level 10 or so before you have to start grinding for level 20. If you like the game, you can get access to most quests with a $10 monthly subscription. That's what I have done since I play virtually every day lol

I believe I've played DDO with you in the past
currently Im on a laptop though and it can't really handle the game

I play D&D 5e in irl but my party will be splitting soon
and I dunno what I'm gonna do

and a side note the game takes place in ebberon
which WotC is updating to 5e like next month

I believe you are right in that we did play some many moons ago.

Im currently using an older laptop and it's playing the game just fine.

Don't be ascairt to play Bro.

It's just a game, if yer machine can't pull it off then so be it but at least give it a try.

They've added epic levels up to lvl 30 now. They have completely redone how your Enhancement points are used. It's a lot better now in my opinion. They even have a Hardcore server that's kinds got a permadeath feature to it.

That server is new so I'm unsure of how the permadeath feature works yet.

For those who haven't played you should really check it out.
