Hey Growery Family,
This is the first plant my partner & I have grown at our new place. From a seed she germinated around June 1st.
So, the cultural story is that it grew up indoors as a seedling & raised outdoors while the temperature was 55°F at it's lowest. Then we started bringing it in at night as the evening temperature got lower than that. All of this was a photoperiod of roughly 12-14 hours w/ 10-12 hours indirect & 2-4 hours direct sunlight.
Then the cultural situation changed around August 20th when I obtained a hanging setup for one LED bulb for my 6'6" x 2'6" grow tent. The first few days we kept the photoperiod about 14 hours light, 8 hours dark. For about month now we've kept it @ 24 hours light.
     
My questions are:
1) What are the pro's or con's for removing the bottom two (& a half) branches?
2) What are the pro's or con's for removing the drooping fan leaves?
3) What does the yellowing on some of these fan leaves indicate?
4) How long can you keep a plant in a 24:0 vegetative state until switching to a 12:12 hour photoperiod?
5) What other tips do you have for growing in an organic soil setup?
6) What experiences do you might have for CO2 emitters, specifically mushroom grows, in a tent?

1 Lower branches receive less light and produce small buds that are hard to trim. Removing the lower branches increases the size of the buds at the top.
2 There is no where on earth that plants naturally get more then 18 hours of light per day. Just one of many things that can cause dropping fan leafs.
3 Might be lack of light or fertilizer, too much fertilizer too high EC level or even a PH problem. Take you pick. The amount of yellowing your experiencing for the plants this age is within norms.
4 I have kept a indica clone mother for 15 years re-cloning her over and over at 18/6 as long as the roots have room to grow your fine. Note most sativas will auto flower within a couple of years.
5 Go hydroponic if you want to double the size of your plants.
6 CO2 is useless in a soil setup. See 5.
