Yeah, I was in it and it didn't end well. Be careful. It's a lot less sexy, but I'd just get an IRA or something like that with a bank. If you really look at how much you make from one year to the next, you might as well do something financially conservative. A lot less hassle, worry and risk. I'm not going back into the market until Bank Of America goes back down to $3 per share.
But if you choose to stay in, good luck to you. I hope you become a millionaire from it.

So I'm gonna try a new strategy. Invest into companies that seem to have a history of getting short,small runs every now and then. I.e. going from 0.001 to 0.008. I personally think finding golden goose, longs on the OTC boards is pretty rare. Better off just taking small gains Like 20%-40% when you can. For instance there's this company Ascent $ASTI . Last two weeks it's been trading at 0.0005 and 0.0006. Then this morning it shot to 0.0014. Had I invested like $600 that day. That would of been a pretty nice chunk of change with a 160% gain.

As an aside, if you play MTG. It's gotten to the point where it is fairly likely to stay around, with a little investigation you can find a few cards that will likely only ever increase in value.
This is probably not a wise idea, but these investors exist (and, actually, hold most of the rare cards).

Oil is another good sector that should do well too. California drilling companies in particular.

Right on thats cool. My advice is be wary of penny stocks and always do your due diligence. Maybe even consider making a investor hub (Ihub) account and follow those boards. But a lot of the penny stocks are scams. Especially the ones that are under 0.01 Not saying you can't make money off them. But use them for what they're for. But the odds of a penny stock going on NASDAQ is slim. Tons of companies go from NASDAQ to OTC. But very few go the other way around.

First cannabis company (Cronos Group) listed on NASDAQ suppose to go live as soon as tomorrow. Gonna trade under $CRON. This could be the beginning of something gargantic fellas.

Easy, just open up a brokerage account like TDAmeritrade, deposit some money, then start trading. I would also recommend opening up a investor hub account. Start with some penny stocks so you get the hang of it. Then maybe move up to the blue chip stocks.

I just buy cryptos. They are quite literally my planned retirement. Ira if you will, funny for something so new volatile and speculative, but hey , I'm young I'll either do super well or have to start from scratch saving at 40. And hey I know simply divorced guys (invested I wrong woman I reckon) who are worse off then I would be just losing my "retirement" money.
