Hey everyone, my mom seems to believe that if weed is in your system i.e. shows up on drug tests, then it still has an effect on you. Not like you're actually high, but like you're more lazy and it's harder to focus. Honestly I've been smoking weed for over a year and have never felt this, so I believe that this is absolute bull crap. Can you guys also give reliable links that show that it doesn't still effect you? Thanks.

In order to give you the best possible advice, we'll need to know exactly how old you are so we can find a study that's specific to your age group. My understanding is that cannabis affects people's brains differently depending on your age.

every time you smoke weed your brain goes into over drive to fight off infection in your lungs meanwhile you are getting a runners high and possibly anti inflamation but the reality is its always better to eat the weed if you have the time to.

The reason you get the munchies when you're high is because your brain knows it has been poisoned with toxic thc, so in an attempt to dilute the poison in your system, your brain tells your body to eat as much as possible.
