I bet that was a gnarly scene, he was up pretty high and the rocket came down as rockets do nose first. KA-BLAMMO!!
Can you imagine if he peaked juuust high enough to see some curvature of the earth and the culmination of his life long work was having his dreams smash, followed shortly thereafter by his body? Sad panda..

Yeah the one I saw had the impact. What I read is that he fell out up in the sky so he didn’t actually impact inside the rocket, he fell elsewhere. I didn’t see anything exit the rocket though.
