 Anyone ever do their own tinting?

I've wanted to tint my car windows for the longest time but never seem to have the extra scratch for it.
Wondering if this is something you can achieve good results with at home if you follow a good technique and be careful/attentive.

I asked a coworker who saidche use to tint. He said the adhesive will eventually start to bubble and the tint will change color.. How much is it around there for a tint job?

I have to get my windows tinted because I just bought a system for my bug. I went to the v dub shop and it's only gonna cost me 280 for tint.

If you use shitty walmart "limousine tint" it will.

You can do it yourself and have no noticeable differences than if you get it done professionally.

yup buy decent tint make sure your windows are REALLY clean do it under cover with minimal moving air and follow the directions you should be good

So I got around to doing it finally. Bought a precut film set on ebay for $30 and applied it with a dollar store spatula 
It's far from perfect but pretty damn good considering.
I had a blast doing it, I'd like to buy some professional tools and get into doing this on the side.

No I used a heat gun to work out as many imperfections as I could
