I need help, my cuttings had spider mites does anyone know if that would hinder them in popping roots? Been in machine 12 days usually by day 8 I'm seeing swelling and white roots popping now day 12 and nothing.I would appreciate any and all help they are going to start rotting if something doesn't happen soon. Thank you

I always root mine in a glass of water. I change the water out every few days. I'm sure this is a ghetto method, but it's never failed me.

Stress= growth reduction
Your answer I imagine would be, yes
If I were u, I'd order an ozone generator for the water.
A2z ozone.com u want the "aqua6"
It'll kill mites and root rot
Best pesticide on the market if u asked me

Thank you Nevar44 I have three machines a 30 hole a 60 hole and a 98 I just do my cuttings put the solutions in turn them on and by day 8 I have roots, but not this time I got mold, so i got a dehumidifier fixed that problem, then mites, think that problem is gone. But don't have any roots. Kind of discouraging.anyhow again Thank you

Too bad u don't have plant tissues culture equipment to save the clones in case u lose em.. u won't lose em tho
All ud need is a tiny piece of a leaf to save the strain if u were in fear of losing the genetics lol

Wait for your clones to root, don't wait for them to rot

Hopefully that makes sense
If you wait for them to rot and expect them to rot, or feae them to rot chances are higher they will rot quicker
If you remain with high hopes that they will root and they will not rot, chances are higher they will root without root

I have a KAT clone thay took forever. They don't like to clone.. it started to rot a hair. But I still planted it. Then I soaked the soil in ozonated water to kill the bacteria. I see healthy roots..
Even if the plant dies from root rot, I think I'll get a new clone which I can hopefully get rooted w out rot and mothered.
My highest hopes are that the bacteria will have been killed by the ozonated water and the plant will live as a mother I'll let u know by posting here in time

Y(^_^)Y Again thank you Never44 your words were not taken lightly I will check out the sight that you gave me. And no I will not wait for rot I have loaded these machines many a times and this has never happened. I refuse failure. I will have roots.

Mine always look like hell the first few weeks then at about 3 weeks ill see little white roots

With the peat plug rooting gel humidty dome method mine take anywhere from 5-14 days. Usually within 5-10
I follow this it works well.
I don't use gel and powder tho. Just gel

I have roots now, I am not sure what I did, didn't measure right or what but I dropped 3oz more cloning solution in reservoir and the next evening they started popping. I have planted and Now I am starting the machine again. Will pay better attention this time.
