I just bought a used 400w light with a switchable ballast. Can anyone tell me if any of the MH and HPS bulbs in the $20 range are worth it?

I mean they work but ime they tend to not last as long as the more premium ones.

Sooo many companies make them these days I'm overwhelmed with trying to decide what to try. Obviously I need one of both. For veg and flowering.
