I just moved to where I'm at now...but used to busk about once a week. Lived near an artsy downtown area. They definitely appreciated music.
It was always fun, and sometimes pretty lucrative.
Always made about as much per hour ad I would at a reg job...on the low end of the scale.
Now when I busked over seas...I always made much much more.
