Do the buds have to be in the direct light to mature?
    #812550 -

like say i have some buds
but I want the light to shine in the lower middle branches away from the tied down ones.
will the cola's not in the direct light still mature?

Not in terms of size but like going from white pistol to brown
white resin to clear resin to brown resin

will that still happen to the top branches if they aren't in the direct light and the other parts of the plant are in direct light?

Not really but the ones not in direct light will be more fluffy. I.e. popcorn nugs.

Some people trim off all the lower branches so all they have are top colas. This is the best way to combat popcorn nugs imo.

I think what evers more natural....the sun aint always shining on every nugget in nature so why should your light be hitting every single nook an cranny.. It might help but its not nessesary.
When ever i have a problem or a question i just ask my self what would nature do?? But nature can be a bitch sometimes. She forces plants to overcome obstacles all the time, ensuring death for the weak and survival for the strong...hense only the strong survive

yeah the only other thing i could do would be to find something strong enough to hold up that light a inch higher so the buds dont fry lol

removing green leaves is a dumb idea though the plant just uses those for carbon in the air, so there's no point to remove them
