What kind of lights

I am a first time grower, and I am doing it indoors. I currently have 3 18" light strips that hold one T8 15 watt fluorescent light bulb each. I am wondering if that will be sufficient, or should I look for a different alternative. If I should get something else, what should I get that is still inexpensive and easy to set up?

If its your first grow I would recommend t5 florescent or CFLs for cheap and reliable growth.
