Hell yeah. It's not one of my top favorites like most people, but it was a really fun and quirky game. I hope they don't fuck it up.

The Sony conference was fucking fantastic. Ff7, the last Guardian and shenmue 3 were all surprises. If you went back in time and could place a bet on what would be announced, you'd win millions of dollars because absolutely nobody would have believed you haha.

im a HUGE ff7 and will be buying a ps4 just for this.
are they sticking to the exact same story line or will they be switching it up a bit?

From what I've heard the story will only have minor touchups but the combat is gonna be updated. I keep pretty up to date on gaming news so I'll bump this when I find out any solid info. Prob. be a while.

hell yah i hear you on that, final fantasy 7 was the very first game i got for my playstation, i love that game i still play it to this day, i make sure i play the full game once a year. but it wont be the same as the first one, im sure it will be good but it will never be what it is now.

That trailer makes it seem like it's the same exact game... Just modernized.

It's the story that makes this game. The emotion. It's unrivaled; only maybe Chrono

From what I understand there making the combat like final Fantasy 15. So not really turn based, more actiony. There is word of a setting for original combat though.
Like I said, not a ton is out there just yet.

well it was stated it would be after 2017 when it does come out so i bet they have not even started it yet and if they did they must have just stated so it will be a good year before any real info gets out
