Inherited a baby
    #56381 - 06/12/08 01:17 PM (15 years, 9 months ago)

So about three months ago my friend gave me this plant at the time she only had 3 leaves on it now its this.

[image][/image]

Curious if all looks good im a newbie to this and wanna try cloning this plant if the outcome of it is nice. Is there anything I should do to it or leave it be, also is there a way to determine whats kind of plant she is.

Thankss

I think it looks pretty good save for maybe some insect damage. Nothing the plant can't handle though I'd say.

Another question I had ive been looking at pictures of other plants and noticed most have 5 large leaves and very few with 3. I'm trying to figure out the Sativa/Indica differences any chance of knowing what kind this is?

Thanks for all the help its greatly appreciated =D

What kind of pests you got?
The long thin leaves indicate sativa heritage.

I've seen those plants that only have 3 lamina the whole time they were called "duckfoot" as I recall, ended up producing odd looking potent buds...its actually been bread and stabilized as the duckfoot

It is when the plant is sexually mature it shows you the sex before it actually enters the flowering stage of growth.  There should be up to 4 pistils (pear shaped with hair/stigma) at each node.  that is where the buds will form.

Man that thing is super bushy!! Almost all of the branches are exactly the same size, and looks quite healthy! Good luck on a happy harvest! :stoned:

I really look forward to it!  I seem to have the luck of only ever getting mostly indica seeds but makes sense based on where I live...

Well I have about 2-4 more weeks of veg and I just put 2 more seeds into soil that had roots (just got 2 Gravity Seeds!)
Check this out... It is very warm in there so my seedlings have a nice warm place to propagate until they pop the surface looking for light then i'll move em outside!
