When to flower Laughing Buddha

Hi
I have 3 plants. 1 RQS ICE 6 weeks old, and two BF Laughing Buddha 4.5 weeks old..
The Ice is shoving preflwower hairs already as it should and looks ready to flower. But the two Laughing buddhas are already 1 inch taller than the ice and doesnt show one hair? it is taking up to much space...
I was wondering if it will be ok to turn to flower when the laughing buddhas doesnt show hairs yet?
I can take pics if you want to see em?

You don't have to wait. It just wont start to flower until it is ready.

Hmmm Not sure where or who told you such. But it simply isn't true. In fact some choose to go straight to flower from seed. And I have yet to see a seed show sex.

That's generally a stress induced idea and not to do with lifespan or age of plant. How prone a plant is to do that when stressed is genetic. Some plants are true herms purely on genetics alone without any stress factors involved.
Trust me, you can flower a plant at any age

For the ice and Laughing i run 18/6 now 12/12.
The same back then when the bag seeds.. but when when i think about it they were also given light in their night time sometime by accident so that was probably right when you say they were stressed...
really good to learn!! next time i will flower at 3 weeks old

I was wondering what whould happen if you cut big top stems of before they start flowering? beacuase they are getting to tall?
Will there just be bigger lower buds?

Yeah. it'll just kick out buds at the other nodes. Although the natural tops are where the sexiest colas normally form

man (or woman) I've only ever seen plants hermie when their conditions were shitty. Wild temp swings and light leaks/errors are the only things I've seen cause it. You can veg them for as long as you want. They won't flower as long as they are on a veg lighting schedule.
