One who is truly ready to kill someone is a sociopath (as well as other things).
However, indirectly so is being ready to protect yourself and your family by whatever means necessary.

it's a double edged sword, the prospect of being a sociopath. on one end, you're a sociopath... on the other, you're better prepared.
