I think that you're not supposed to eat all day in order to get the effects off edibles? Or maybe it's different for every body and you just need to make sure that you don't eat much?
I'm kind of a cheap smoker-- I will light only a little bit to ensure that I can fit all the smoke in my lungs so it's not all going out the window (literally) and then ghost that shit.

I usually smoke a bowl, and I will smoke another one 2 hours later.
