Too late?

Hi, so im new to the forum, as well as growing. My freind decided to grow and ordered some seeds on attitude, but much to his disappointment they were confinscated. He had to order again, and this time it took 2 1/2 weeks, but the seeds look good. My friend lives in Atlanta, GA, and wants to do a guerrilla grow op. My friend has no experience, and wants to know if its too late to start. If it is, would growing an auto strain help? Also, GA tends to stay warm well into early October. Sorry if I misposted this to the wrong thread. Thanks

I'd say it's pretty late for seeds, although he might be able to get a small harvest it won't be anything impressive. In my experience most plants start flowering around mid August to early September, so he's only got about a month and a half of veg time left.

I've never done autoflowers. I'm sure somebody with some real knowledge will give you some answers soon.

Autoflowers will work, it will take just as much time for them to finish as it would have taken earlier in the summer. They will be smaller due to less intense sun than if you had planted earlier in the seaosn, although probably not significantly smaller. I'd say go for it. Even with the photo strains, I'd say go for it. You will still get a decent yeild, although definitely not as big as if you had planted earlier. But the great thing is, there's always next season

Enough with this my friend bullshit. We all know it's you, own up to what you are doing. Especially since you started with, "I'm new to this forum, and growing" The feds aren't really looking at a site like this to catch people.

I get ya there, but it just makes shit confusing. We do know you are talking about yourself. And I doubt the feds are looking for a random dude in Georgia growing a couple outdoor plants. You are among friends here, bro.
I have grown 2 autos and had ok yields with them indoors. Seeing as how you are in Georgia, as long as you guys don't have a really wet summer I don't see why you couldn't get nice auto in the time you got left. Start them this week though, last week would be better.lol.
The buds may not mature all the way depending on the care and time left, but you will still get something decent. If anything some buds you can use to make some great hash.
Welcome to the Growery!

You really think that disclaimer would actually protect you? The feds aren't stupid, well, that stupid at least.

Yea the SWIM "technique" is strange to me. I'd like to think that speaking generally and not about anyone specific might be a little better. like youre a college kid doing a paper... involving seed confiscation...
