Maybe a cal/mag def. That's what I would treat it as? I had the spots before. Lookin like rust. Cal/mag fixed it.:stayfunky:

Has nothing to do with it being topped.

I'd give them a dose of Nutrients.  The top growth isn't looking super healthy either.  I think that they are beginning to need ferts.

That makes perfect sense since they have been in this FFOF for a month or so without any other feeding.
Thanks guys.

Seems it has gotten  a little worse.

I also noticed my other plants are starting to turn a lighter green but have none of those spots except for one leaf I face them a half solution of pure blend pro. Hopefully that helps.

I should also clear something up. The plant in question has been in FFOF without a feeding for 3 weeks not a month like I first stated.

Dam that looks like cal/mag def. or over fert. burn?? I would give it plain water with some cal/mag  It should stop the spots fron getting worse. The old damage wont fix itself so.You have to wait and hope it stops spreading:stayfunky:

Well since he hasn't fed it anything, it's not burn.

I still stand by my judgement that they need some nutrients.

Holy shit.  Something is severely wrong.  Is the root system healthy?  I'd pull the rootmass out to see if there is anything going on with it.

Well I tried taking the poly bag off but realized it would be a PITA to try and put it back on. But from what I saw the roots on the bottom are white and "healthy" and  (but what do I know)one root was also poking though the bottom.

Heres a pic from another angle.

I notcied the top of the plant seems to be bending to one direction.

Tell me about it man.

I did install a 6 in. inline exhaust fan and also an oscillating fan. In 45 mins it brought the GH down 7 degrees.

Leaning to one direction usually indicates it's getting light from that direction.

Fuck man.  I don't really know what to tell ya.  It does seem like you have a rough time with plants.  There has to be something you are doing, or not doing, to keep having so many problems.

Would excessive heat and nute deficiency cause those spots and turning the leaves a lighter color?

It was 107 in the shade in the afternoon and was probably around that for the last two days.

Those fans should hopefully  cool things off in the afternoon now.

Also a guy at the hydrostore recommend using some of this stuff.

Seems like a simple tea.

Yeah looks like a typical tea.  Couldn't hurt.  The temps and whatnot COULD cause that.  But marijuana has been growing in high heat and tropical areas for a long time.  But those two combined could do it I guess.  Stress on top of stress is never good.
