ive been doing aeroponics for a min now and had to get a new container and it is a clear blue, and was seeing if anyone knew if this would harm the roots or cause a nasty funk from my nutes, its organic, I would really like to watch what goes on in there but not if its gonna make it nasty, thanks

Well light inhibits root growth for one. Also allowing light in can promote algae growth, not good for the root system.

In a pinch, black duct tape can be used to seal out light. Kind of ghetto, but I've done it and it works.

You could make some kind of box that seals out the light but can be removed to see the roots.
