 grafting weed plants

so i started a bunch of cacti and tomatoes(for the spring) and was thinking about giving a shot at grafting. found this video
gonna give it a shot. ima try to have a mother with 3-5 diff strains on it.

You know it really is. You can take branches from Mothers plants and put them on one stalk. This way you don't have to keep a ton of mother plants if you don't have room but want a bunch of different strains each batch. The only time it looks strange is if you have tall growing sativa or hybrid branches and have stalky indica branches on the same plant.
The process is pretty much fool-proof when done right. The best way is to graft the branch before taking it off the plant it grew on. Very easy.

did you use grafting clips or did you use rubber bands ? i was planning on gettin some grafting clips since im afraid that the rubber bands will put too much stress on the stems.

Grafting Heirloom Tomatoes is a thread on THCfarmer.com I have been reading recently. There is a lot of good info on grafting there. Tomato/cannabis grafts, tomato/potato grafts, and several other things are mentioned and pictured here... the thread was started to discuss this guy's project. He was grafting hybrid rootstock with heirloom scions. He is hoping to gain the hybrid vigour and fruit production from the rootstock and the flavor that heirlooms have.
