Our 14 year old daughter just caught my wife and I smoking pot and is freakin out about it. Now she's all like "why does the back room have a lock on it, growin pot back there" and I'm not too thrilled about it.

Well for my state says 10-21 plants is a felony, 1 year in prison and $5000 fine. Doesn't say anything for under that amount. Misdemeanor maybe? I'm not too worried, we told her that's where we hide the christmas presents under lock and key.

Most of the 14 year old girls I know would have told 20 people by now. I would be more concerned about childrens' services than police. Around here they fuck up peoples lives and cost way more than the police. Not totally their fault, but they have to take everything 100% seriously and follow-up on any reports they get.

Hell no I didn't tell her I grow! She now knows her mother and I occasionally smoke and seems completely over it. She is very loved and gets treated well, I think she was just shocked. She'll have to wait til she's 18 if she wants to try it, I don't condone my children trying any mind altering substances til they're grown adults.
