A lot of my friends see eye to eye with me on this issue, but they compromise their beliefs for their woman.  I can't do that.  All the first dates I go on I try to gain a sense of where they stand on that issue, along with religion.  Why waste each others time if she's hard core christian i know it's not going to work.

My kids will be able to smoke in highschool I think. I started when I was 13. They have to maintain decent grades, or atleast show me they are making an effort. School wasn't my thing but I tried.

I started in high school, 14, but I made breakfast in bed for my mother, toast and a cuppa and asked her nicely if she didn't mind if I could smoke, she said, your not buying it and wasting money on it. So I started growing and I wasn't allowed to to smoke week nights.

20 years later and the first of my three boys is in high school, I'm not going to be hypercritical and he's a top kid so It will be his choice but there will be a nice long chat about it, i think there going to do what they want so I'd rather they be open about it.
