so i have some clones in a humidity dome and theyve been in there for about 7 or 8 days    i dont think theyve rooted much yet but when i open the container it smells a little musty  theres no sign of mold though    can i just plant them or should i leave them in the dome til theve got roots coming out of the bottom of the peat pucks

You need some roots first, but it shouldn't take more then a few days once they start growing.

Make sure that you are taking the lid off on a regular basis, clones want fresh co2 as well as a high humidity.  They can also take up to 2 weeks to root.  As long as the plants are still perky I wouldn't be worried.

yeah i just split one of the peat pucks with an exacto knife i had a new wet peat puck ready and mor rooting powder  there was no sign of rooting so i dipped it in more rooting powder and put it in a new peat puck and proceeded to put a dash of rooting powder at the base of all of the clones (10) and washed it down to their tip with a spritz of water    im jus getting worried because its been close to 12 days for 4 of them and 10 for the rest  i forgot to mention i took them off of a flowering plant which i know is controversial but everything ive read says theyve had 100%success with doing this

So that means it's going to take longer.  You need to LEAVE THEM ALONE.  I can't stress that enough man.

Probably, the more you fuck with them, the longer it's going to take.

do you clean your dome after every use? often? or alternated which domes you fill up so you are always shuffling in a new clean dome? that could be the cause of your musty smell. or the water bottle if thats not cleaned often?
