meh....if i'm packin a bowl I'll break it up with my fingers.
rollin a joint or packin the vape......then its def going in the grinder.

I've posted this before, but I think grinders are god's gift to weed. If we're smoking at my house, you better believe the ganj in every bowl, every joint, every blunt, and every edible, has gone through my space case.
Grinders fluff up the bud, increase the surface area exposed to the heat source, help your bowl burn nice and even, and they let you roll the PERFECT joint.

especially if i need to roll like 5 joints ...
it would take a hour to finger bust 2-3 grams for joints

i made some edibles not too long ago, they were nice.
but at this point in time, i just can't afford that much weed. 
just been smoking as much as i can though, a gram a day maybe.
i say go eat a cookie to add some atmosphere

I use trim from a grower friends project. he just tosses it all in the trash if i dont take it.

I have never used grinders very much in my 10 years of dope shmokin...
They are definitely nice though, I'm usually just too cheap to pick one up.
Can you grind a bunch of shit up all at once or do you usually just grind your material being immediately used?

I got two grinders...a cheap wood one and a diamond grind. I never use the cheap one unless its for schwagg which really doesnt get smoked much, but anything good goes in the grinder for all the reasons already mentioned, but i gotta throw in that if you got a grinder with a screen then you get all that kief saved up and thats always a treat.
So i grind solely to save up kief

I pregrind bud for my vape. It dries it out quite a bit more but that's better for the vape. I wouldn't do it in advance for bowls.
I grind bud for blunts too. But just bowls, I rip a branch off and pack it in. If I had a screen grinder I'd do it every time for kief.

Nothing like topping a bowl off with a layer of kief that would otherwise be lost to your fingers
