so i need so advice, i only want to do 3 or 4 small plants for the wife and I. i have a old 4'H X 4'W and 1'D metal cabinet, and a 150W HPS and a 100W MH. but i dont have ballast. I have been reading up on this alot and I'm starting to wonder about things. Well first of i have a small budget. First question is, can i just use small CFL's that would and up to a 200W CFL. Second, can i use the UV light instead of the MH? some of this stuff i have already gotten for free. I really dont want to have over a 200W system. its just me and the wife, and i think im just going to scrob (I belive thats what its called?). Any info that you can help with on the lighting would be awesome. P.S. Im going to be running a hydro system.
thank you, the noobie

If you're doing a scrog then 200w Cfls could work but I wouldn't do more then 2 normal sized plants. Probbly actually get a pretty decent yield with a scrog and sticking all those Cfls in nooks an crannys of the canopy
