 my cfl scrog (updated 7-9-09)

hey everyone i thought i would post a picture of my cfl scrog and see what you all think. its kinda jimmy rigged but i am getting 1 inch of growth every day so im happy.
right now i am using 8 23 watt 2700 k bulbs and 2 26 watt 5700k i am going to add another 2 2700k bulbs.

Jesus man! You're plant's look fantastic but why spend all that dough on so many bulbs/sockets when you could get a lower-wattage HID and I promise you'll never look back... I am a recent savior from CFL's and I wanna spread the word... It runs cooler than my CFL's did, I get more area coverage, and I can still keep them within 3 inches of the bulb! If you don't want to consider that it's cool too, but I SERIOUSLY recommend it. I just got mine a couple weeks ago after using FL's for years and i'll never go back, except for the first week of growth. Check out my Grow Journal and you can see what i'm talking about. the reason that i went with the cfl's is because of heat, i am enclosed in a closet of a second building attached to the house that isnt air conditioned, i ran my metal halide in there during the winter and it got hella hot, but i thought about running it for like 4 of the 12 hours and have the cfl's shut off. another reason that i used cfl's is because i just wanted to try it, i have used a 400 watt hps and halide befor and i know they are more efficient but i have heard of people getting good yeilds so i want to try.

Looks good. I'm impressed, but I still like my Scrog Better. But definitly one of the better CFL ones I've had the pleasure of seeing. Flouro guys are the ones that started scroging to begin with, way to keep the tradition alive.

ok i took some new pictures i am 4 weeks into my grow and i am now running 11 23 watt 2700k bulbs and 2 26watt 5700k. you will notice that some of the leaves are burnt on the far leaves because i leave my lights touching some of the bigger leaves.
