I planted 2 seeds in a samll cup in some nice potting soil and its been 2 weeks with no visible growth does that seem strange? This is my first grow. The seeds were germinated in warm pur water and had opened revealling its taproot which was about 1-2cm long. So using small tools to handle the seed I put it in the soil about 1/4inch down and covered it. The soil was clean and at field capacity

sounds wrong.
did you keep watering? maybe that root rotted away.
if you got a tap root i would imagine something green with 48 hours.

Shit really? Damn. Well I got other seeds but some are white, green , brown, which seeds are the ones that I can use?

usually darker seeds with a uniform shape are healthy. larger seeds with heavy veins are optimal. but that does not mean a smaller dark seed is not good.
in my experience larger veinier seeds are the more sativa ones- but that is not science, just what i have found.
why not try germinating right into the medium. you most likely damaged the tap root when you put it in last time. or put it in to deep/not deep enough. or over watered lol.

This is the way I do it! 90 plus percent germ rates with viable seeds.
