how long to take a tolerance break? (maxed-out mega Cheech and Chong tolerance)

so yeah, like the title says. I have a completely maxed out weed tolerance. I haven't experimented much with tolerance breaks, but it is time.

what is the optimum time to quit for? I'm thinking maybe a few months. whatever achieves the following:

1. long enough for complete reset of tolerance
2. long enough for some mental clarity
3. short enough that I don't become bitter about weed and start hating it, like other people seem to do a lot haha.

A physician once told me that it takes around three months to clean out your system.(e.g. for drug tests and what not) But that it can take up to six months for mental clarity.
I went about four months without smoking or drinking and for like the last week I had crazy nervous energy, like that first line of really good coke. I broke my fast with two fat bong rips and was quite toasted.
I've also heard that not smoking one or two days a week helps. But I have not tried this myself.

Been smoking over 20 years my friend.
At one time over 15 grams daily.
Now only about 1 to 1.5 grams daily.
This system works great for me.

ive been a HARD smoker for 13 yrs...

recently i went super hard on the dabs (bho wax) for a good 3 months straight... i was sleepin more then i was awake. I decided it was time to take my first real tolerance break....

Right now im on day 16 of zero blazing... this longest Ive EVER gone with out my main girl mary.. First 4 days sucked (bitchy, and trouble sleeping). but now I feel great. My sex drive is through the roof, im reading books again (and loving it). And it feels good to have a clear head. Plus im more social right now, and not home smokin weed and wax all day. Another huge difference is i remember all my dreams soooo vividly... and my dreams are intense as hell!

A month or two will reset ur tollerance for sure. you will also feel like a "new man" after a while. You will feel good after day 5 (or at least i did,) , I still love weed. I just tell my friends im on a break. they still blaze beside me.... it no big deal. Weed isnt addictive like other drugs. after day 5 u dont even crave it.

For real though, whenever I see posts about people taking tolerance breaks it always bugs me out and makes me think I oughta take one too and I'm missing out on getting higher, even though I do smoke medically for my stomach.

When I see posts like the one you just made it makes me feel better about smoking half a gram to a gram a day. Maybe sometimes a little more, but anyway it feels good. :feelsgoodman:

I actually didn't start smoking on a regular basis until my mid twenties.
I smoked some bricked shit a couple times in high school and college, and decided I hated weed...then this girl I met in Denver took me back to her apartment one night after Great American Beer Fest and smoked me out on some high high high quality nugs. I ended up staying the weekend with her, and I left with two new loves: Redheads and weed.
